John Deane-Bowers
Founder & Managing Director / Product & Buying Co-ordinator
All of John’s previous commercial experience has been in the clothing industry based in London’s West End and Chelsea.
Joining John Stephen’s emporium in Carnaby Street, in the late sixties, he spent six years with the Village Gate organisation before being appointed sales Director of specialist menswear organisation Woodhouse.
John established Trotter & Deane in Suffolk in 1991. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge of ‘upper end’ menswear retailing.
John says “My team here in Suffolk have the benefit of learning everything that I have during my extensive career in the industry. My hope is that as a consequence we are among the most knowledgeable independent menswear businesses in the country.”
An ambition recognised and rewarded by the fashion industry’s weekly Journal, Drapers, who previously voted Trotter & Deane the UK’s top independent Menswear Retailer.
